The class runs like this:
We meet around 9:00 a.m. or at your convenience. It's best not to have eaten too much beforehand and to be well hydrated. It's not a problem if you like coffee and/or are a smoker. After a short discussion about your life situation, any concerns you may have, and your goals, I'll teach you some basic notions of respiratory physiology, and we'll begin the exercises.
Once you're familiar with these exercises, we'll move on to the apnea portion, and I'll guide you through your first breath-holding experiences. We'll do various warm-ups before attempting as much apnea as possible. You'll certainly be very surprised by the results.
Following this, we'll end the session with a discussion and some tips for continuing on this path. I'll also suggest some apps to download so you can gently integrate the practices into your daily life.
