AIDA1 Freediving Course in Sharm el Sheikh

The very first step into Freediving 

AIDA stands for "Association Internationale pour le Developpement de l'Apnee" and exists since 1992. Didactic is clean and simple, the levels are well organised. 

AIDA1 Freediving course is the perfect introduction to what freediving is. During one full day, you will first get through the basic theory about freediving and human physiology to understand well what metabolical changes freediving triggers. You will also practice specific breathing and relaxation exercises in order to achieve your first breatholds. I look forward to see you achieve your best and to be here to help you on the way.

After a break during which we can enjoy the menu and have a nice fruit juice for example, we will once again get ready, go through a technical briefing, get properly equipped and go together in the sea. I will remind you what you've just learned, show you how to do and finally dive with you. If you wonder about the depth, i will allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

AIDA 1 star freediving course does not features exam nor specific achievements, it's just for the fun of discovering the world of freediving. After your course, you will receive a certificate that proves you successfully went through AIDA 1 freediving course.

PREVIOUS SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be able to swim easily and feel comfortable with mask and snorkel in open water environment

  • You must have completed the necessary paperworks

  • You must be 18 years old (16 with parental consent)
