the 4th of June i will welcome you in Espace Akasa of Bienne for a workshop dedicated to deep freediving preparation. It is a dry workshop and will be held in english.

Full body warm up, stretching and breathing

We will start the day by a full body warm up and get after that into specific exercices for thoracic stretching and some extreme breathing skills such as packing and reverse packing. I will show you how to organise your breath and share some tricks of mine to achieve deeper states of relaxation and determination.

Architecture of a Deep Dive

The next part will be analysing the architecture of a dive dive. When, where and which skills to perform during a deep dive and how to work on plan Bs while descending. Understanding the structure of your dive is tremendously important and can allow you to collect critical datas about your and the limits you should not play with.

Dry Equalisation

Once our dives are clear in our minds and papersheets, we'll switch to equalisation subject which is the main one for that day. Which tools to use, how to use them and how to practice efficiently. No deep diver has ever dodge the dry equalisation part, it would be sad you keep thinking that you could progress without blowing some ballons with your nose or doing some bubbles into a bubble tower. The equalisation part will take a part of the morning and most of the afternoon.

Silent Meditation

To finish the day, i propose to teach you rapidly how to meditate the deep zen way and to practice some silent sitting meditation together.

mask and snorkel

noseclip

equalisation tool (octopus, otovent or else, ...)

notebook and pens

pocket mirror or phone

chopsticks  

A reduction of 50% is offered to the members of SUSV-FSSS. Don't forget to mention your mumbership number when going through registration. If you don't have some of the requested tools, please let us know soon enough.
