YIN YOGA
In Yin, we explore our “edges”—the point where sensation meets challenge—then we settle into stillness. This stillness isn’t passive however, it invites deep introspection, mindful breathing, and a slow, therapeutic stretch of the fascia and connective tissues. These long holds also activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping your body shift from stress mode to rest-and-repair mode.
When is the best time to practice?
ANYTIME! Depending on your intention, schedule and other life factors, but let me explain you briefly
🌙 Evening Yin is perfect for a deep reset. After a day of decision-making, rushing, screens, and stress, Yin gently unwinds the body and calms the mind, releasing accumulated tension and prepares the nervous system for restful, high-quality sleep.
🌅 Morning Yin offers a gentle, grounded start to your day. The slow opening of connective tissues improves circulation and mobility, while the mindful breathing supports mental clarity and emotional balance. It can help you meet the day with more focus, patience, and ease.
